Background on subpages in Executive Pro theme

Hello!

Is there a CSS property that needs to be adjusted or added to allow to have a white background, for example, behind main body of text?

Please see the example page below:

I'd like to have a white background behind the header text and anything I put in below the header. I know I could accomplish this via HTML code on that particular page, but I would hate to repeat it for each page I create.

Please let me know if there is a simpler way to do this.

I may be misunderstanding the question as I am pretty new to this too...but if you change:

Site Header
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- */

.site-header {
margin: 0 auto;
min-height: 100px;
background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.5);
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;

and make it:

Site Header
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- */

.site-header {
margin: 0 auto;
min-height: 100px;
background-color: rgba(255,255,255,0.5);
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;

Does that achieve what you are looking for?

Thanks for your reply!

I think what you have just specifically applies to the site header and not to the main body content on the subpages.

What I meant by header was really the title of the page.

Take a look at the following page:

See how there is a background behind the text? I accomplished this with HTML, but was wondering if there is something I could do in the stylesheet so I don't have to apply this to each page.
