    Hi,

I use Metro and with this new wordpress update, the ability to remove my background image is gone. The background image I use is on my site, but when I go to settings to remove it, it says there is no background image to remove.

Second, is there a way to make my mobile menu bar show up as a box in the top left with lines (many themes do this now.) Right now the whole first part of my mobile screen for my site is a giant black menu bar. People have to scroll down to find a food image.

    Thank you!
    Sandi

I just tested this on wp 4.2.2 and the remove background works. Maybe you modified your functions.php?

The easiest way to get a mobile menu is to use a plugin. I have used this one with success using genesis templates:

Note: with the plugin, you have to tell it which nav div to hide on mobile: the div is nav-primary

I appreciate your help PXforti. I didn't modify my functions.php which is why this is so odd. Do you think if I upload a background image, then delete it...would that reset things to no background?

Also, for the mobile responsive plugin, I have it set up but when I look in chrome and safari on my iphone, the big blocky menu still shows up. I am using this as the hide code: #menu-primary-navigation

    Any thoughts?
    Thank you

in the responsive menu plugin, you need to use .nav-primary
