    My background picture is not centered and spreads out of whole site and does not look professional.

    I have the beautiful pro theme. What size picture do I need to put up and where do I adjust the width and make it centered?

    You need a minimum of width 1400px not to notice the cut offs at either side.

    To make it centered, in your dashboard go to Appearance > Customize > Background image

    Once uploaded, change the background position option to center and background attachment to scroll.
