    Hey guys,

    I'm using the Authority Pro Theme and I have a little issue.

    I'm using the Post and Page Grid Block in my Homepage as the demo example, but in the excerpt of my blog post it keeps showing the link of the YouTube video that I put at the beginning of my post. (Attached photo)

    I tried to play a little bit with the option in the theme setting > content archives but nothing worked. (Attached photos)

    When I check in my blog page and in my category archive page I don't have the same issue. (Attached photos)

    Even on my backend, if I click on to "edit page" I don't have the issue. (Attached photo)

    Do you have any solutions?

    No images were attached in your posts and I do not see the video link on the website. Did you resolve your issue?

    I haven't solved it but let's say I bypassed it.

    I manually edited the excerpt of each blog page.

    @ste can you put something in place for me to see so I can also check category archives? I see it in my archives. The issue is that anything you place at the beginning of post before you start any text will automatically appear. That's how it is with the Classic Editor as well. You'd need to use custom excerpts if you didn't want the video to be displayed.

    It's an "issue" of the Post and Page Grid Block because in the category archive page and in the blog page the excerpts automatically hide the Youtube link video put at the beginning of the post.

    I had the same problem with another Studiopress theme "Aspire Pro", using the featured custom post type widget for genesis. (As I remember now they have fixed this issue)

    Maybe with the next updates, they'll fix this one too.

    For now, I keep using the custom excerpts.

    I know there was a similar issue with this but I was under the impression it was fixed. I'll post it to StudioPress in the Genesis Slack group.
