    I could use another set of eyes on this css code - I must have something wrong.
    The header/top menu area of the site is too long and covers the tops of all pages.
    It shrinks back as you scroll down, but the page top is never seen.

    Here is the css:

    .site-header-main {
    padding-top: 0;
    padding-bottom: 0;
    }

    .site-content {
    padding-top: 0 !important;
    }

    .front-page-2 {
    background-color: #E1E9EE;
    }

    .front-page-3,
    .content .front-page-3 .widget-full .featuredpost,
    .content .front-page-3 .widget-full .featured-content .widget-title {
    background-color: #F9F9F9;
    }
    .site-inner {
    padding-top: 0px;
    }

    Any help appreciated.

    That behavior is happening because you have too many menu items. You can reduce the number of menu items or you can decrease the font size of the menu so it comes back up into alignment with the logo. That will resolve the issue for you.
