Hi all, loving Author Pro theme and a great plugin.

I'm using it for a small publishing company producing a variety of book genres.

Is there a way to change 'book series' to 'book genres'..?

    Many thanks.

Book Series is defined in the Genesis Author Pro plugin. You would have to change a lot of code in the plugin. Changing code in a plugin is never recommended. An update to the plugin will overwrite your changes. You could copy and rename the plugin, modify it to suit your needs, and use your own version going forward. If the original plugin is updated, it won't change your version, but you risk losing additional functionality that may be added in the future.

You could just register a new taxonomy for Genre and not change anything in the plugin.
