I'd like to create a custom sidebar for my media attachment page.

I am using the genesis simple sidebar plugin.

When I click on "edit media" and view the admin page, there is no option for picking a sidebar. Is there a way to implement the plugin to work on this type of page? Is there a simple hack for this? or is there a way to assign a default custom sidebar to the attachment page? I'm stumped.

    Please and Thank you! 🙂

This is a general question of something I want to implement on several of my client's websites. I didn't think I had to post a website link to ask a general question of this possible functionality. I have not completely implemented this yet.

Is there specific information (other than link) that I can provide to receive any guidance on this issue?

Is there any info/tutorial available on how to create an attachment.php file for a genesis child theme? I can't find this file in the genesis theme.

Here's 2 tutorials which will help:

Please note, some solutions are theme specific which is generally why i need to inspect a site
