I'm a bit new to the WordPress , so apologies if this seems basic. I'm using lifestyle pro as my child theme and that looks good, my issue is that each time I drop a widget it encloses it with a grey border in the style of the template. I have been able to eliminate it by applying some highly specific selectors to a particular widget box. Ideally i would like to suggest my own class for a particular widget instance and style it in the css using that name. Is this possible?

As an example I wished to get rid of the grey border around the about box on my home page
