    I'm trying to follow the codex to enable javascript live preview of changes on the customizer screen. However, unlike with the default WordPress themes (and several others) the standard enqueue method does not work with Genesis.

    Any ideas why?

    This code is in a file named customizer.php which has been included as part of the is_admin() scripts in init.php

    add_action( 'customize_preview_init', 'genesis_customize_preview_js');

    function genesis_customize_preview_js() {
    	wp_enqueue_script(
    		'genesis-customize-preview',
    		get_template_directory_uri() . '/lib/admin/customizer.js',
    		array('customize-preview'),
    		'20140320',
    		true );
    }
