    Any way to remove the box shadow from the .s search /input box? Seems to be a common look just in Genesis so I was hoping someone might now. I have tried EVERYTHING!

    Hi,
    I can't see your site, but I think I know what you're referring to. I don't always like to have a lot of styling on forms either. You may find a block of code like this in your theme. I'd suggest doing a "find" on "box-shadow". If this is doing it, you can just comment out the box-shadow line. I always kill the border-radius on that, too. Obviously you might need to make your code more specific if you edit this part and want a shadow on SELECT or TEXTAREA.

    input,
    select,
    textarea {
    	background-color: #fff;
    	border: 1px solid #ddd;
    	border-radius: 3px;
    	box-shadow: 1px 1px 3px #eee inset;
    	color: #999;
    	font-size: 14px;
    	font-size: 1.4rem;
    	padding: 16px;
    	padding: 1.6rem;
    	width: 100%;
    }

    Hope that helps,
    Dave

    NM got it finally! I guess I was overthinking it`input:focus{
    box-shadow: none!important;
    outline: none!important;
    }`

    Thanks David anyways!

    Ah, those darned "important" statements..... I seem to be running into plagues of those lately. 🙂

    Glad it's fixed.
