    I'm using ambiance Pro and decided to show my home page as a blogroll rather than a static page.

    Ambiance Pro shows just the Featured image for each post only if the post isn't assigned a featured image then it does not show at all?

    I would like to have my blog page behave a little more like a standard blogroll; that is with an image and a summary.

    I have tried entering a summary into the excerpt area, but no text shows in the blog roll?

    Any suggestions would be appreciated

    Hi Pete,

    that special blog layout is one of features of Ambiance Pro.
    The layout is defined in index.php (e.g. the post content is removed).
    If you wanted to change it, you would have to either remove the file or change the code in the file and adjust the css.
