Replace following code in front-page.php file
//* Add featured-section body class if ( is_active_sidebar( 'front-page-1' ) ) { //* Add image-section-start body class add_filter( 'body_class', 'altitude_featured_body_class' ); function altitude_featured_body_class( $classes ) { $classes[] = 'featured-section'; return $classes; } }
WITH
//* Add featured-section body class if ( is_active_sidebar( 'front-page-1' ) ) { //* Add image-section-start body class add_filter( 'body_class', 'altitude_featured_body_class' ); function altitude_featured_body_class( $classes ) { $classes[] = 'featured-section'; return $classes; } remove_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_header_markup_open', 5 ); remove_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_do_header' ); remove_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_do_nav', 12 ); remove_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_header_markup_close', 15 ); }
Step 2 :
Add this new code in front-page.php file
genesis_header_markup_open(); genesis_do_header(); genesis_do_nav(); genesis_header_markup_close();
After this code
genesis_widget_area( 'front-page-1', array( 'before' => '<div id="front-page-1" class="front-page-1"><div class="image-section"><div class="flexible-widgets widget-area' . altitude_widget_area_class( 'front-page-1' ) . '"><div class="wrap">', 'after' => '</div></div></div></div>', ) );
Step 3:
Add this CSS in your style.css file. You will adjust the CSS little bit as per your site design.
.home .site-header { position: relative; }

Step 1:
Remove this code from altitude_front_page_widgets() function (front-page.php file)
genesis_widget_area( 'front-page-1', array( 'before' => '<div id="front-page-1" class="front-page-1"><div class="image-section"><div class="flexible-widgets widget-area' . altitude_widget_area_class( 'front-page-1' ) . '"><div class="wrap">', 'after' => '</div></div></div></div>', ) );
Step 2:
Add this new function in front-page.php file ( above the altitude_front_page_widgets()) function
function altitude_front_page_section_1() { genesis_widget_area( 'front-page-1', array( 'before' => '<div id="front-page-1" class="front-page-1"><div class="image-section"><div class="flexible-widgets widget-area' . altitude_widget_area_class( 'front-page-1' ) . '"><div class="wrap">', 'after' => '</div></div></div></div>', ) ); }
Step 3:
Below this line if ( is_active_sidebar( 'front-page-1' ) ) { add this line
add_action( 'genesis_header', 'altitude_front_page_section_1', 3 );
Step 4:
Add this CSS in your style.css file
.home .site-header { position: relative; }
I personally like 2nd procedure.
