I just installed Altitude Pro theme and after importing demo content, Home page was not imported. I tried 3 times, other sections, menus and posts seem to be imported fine. The process didn't show any error.

It's weird , but the Home page does not appear to be included in the XML file demo content.

After you import content, you have to setup the front page widgets yourself. This is normal. http://my.studiopress.com/docs/import-demo-content/

    Ok, thanks, it works now!

First time here with Genesis, I am used to install a theme, importing the demo content, and then that the site displays almost the same look of the demo site. Now I have to copy/paste all the HTML code for widgets, I think authors should use some method or plug-in to import widgets in an easier way.

I'm having the same problem you were. Where did you find the HTML code to copy/paste into the front page widgets?

You have to go to the "Theme Setup" section of the Theme: http://my.studiopress.com/setup/altitude-pro-theme/
Then over "Front Page Layout Configurations" you'll see the HTML code of all widgets.

    Best regards!
