Is anyone using anything else successfully?

The slider hasn't been updated in a year, and though I shouldn't be bothered, I suppose, it flags 16 errors in CSS on the validation, all by itself...?

Is the slider dead?

Take a look at the Soliloquy Slider. It works really well with Genesis. The free version includes the basic slider (images with captions if you want to include them), the pro version has a lot of great add-ons (carousel, thumbnails...)

Also some very interesting feature with "wpclips" to have Genesis Responsive Slider full-width 😉
