I would like to align my topmost menu right as opposed to left as present, it presently only contains a single link called contact

Hi,

Make some CSS changes in your child-theme
nav.nav-secondary {
text-align:right;
}
.genesis-nav-menu a {
border-left: 1px solid #e3e3e3;
}

This will move the topmost menu to right
