    Hello,

    Any advice on how I can make the headerwidth background 100%? I just want the background color to run full width NOT the content of logo image or menu links which I want to stay at the current 1280px width.

    I also would like to do this to the primary navigation menu at the top. Have the background color run 100% but content to remain at 1280px.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks, Randy

    Hi Randy,

    This would change the site-header background (or wrap) to the full width, the max-width line is the addition:

    .site-header .wrap {
    	background-color: #1a212b;
    	color: #fff;
           max-width: 100%;
    }

    If you want the site title and nav-menu to remain where they are , you'd want to adjust the padding and/or margins on those to bring back towards the center. Those are separate entities so you'd need to adjust each one. The best way to do that is to use Inspect Element and experiment while viewing the browser until you position everything where you'd like it. Be sure and test mobile views in case they need adjusting as well.
