    Working with Agency Pro and top of right side bar floats above the top of the center content section of the page. Is there some code I can add to align this? Where do I put the code? Thanks

    Hi,

    If you're using Jetpack, activate the module Custom CSS.
    And then in the WordPress left hand menu, click Appearance > Edit CSS.
    Then add the following:

    .sidebar-primary {
        margin-top: 42px;
    }

    If you want to edit your style.css file instead:
    In your theme folder (agency-pro) there is a file style.css. Be sure to save a copy before you edit, and edit using a text editor.
    Near line 544, you find this code:

    .sidebar-primary {
        float: right;
        width: 360px;
    }

    Just add margin-top line to it so it looks like this:

    .sidebar-primary {
        float: right;
        width: 360px;
        margin-top: 42px;
    }

    Marcy - Thanks so much, Your solution in Edit CSS worked perfectly - right down to the pixel. Your explanation made it simple. Thanks!!!

    I don't believe this. I added the code and everything looked wonderful. Then I updated to the latest version of Genesis and the correction disappeared and the sidebar is once again mis-aligned. I checked the code in Edit CSS and it was there unchanged.
    How do I correct this?
    Thanks.

    Well, no amount of refreshing my website would correct the misalignment. Looking at my website this morning the alignment issue was resolved. I should have shut down my website and reopened it to solve the problem. Marcy - your brilliant solution worked despite my confusion. Again, thanks so much.

    It looks perfect to me though.

    Is there a cache plugin running on your site? Are you using a managed WordPress hosting plan?
    You may need to clear those caches for you to see it.

    Until the cache clears, I can't see the issue or you can't see that it's fixed. It's one or the other.

    I have a cache plugin, but it has not been activated.
    The problem was solved when I closed the website and WP. When in doubt: reboot. That did the trick.
    Marcy - Thanks so much for your kind support and brilliant coding solution.
