    hi, we are using the AgentPress Pro Theme and we are trying to add a third footer widget so it will divide up to three equal columns along the bottom.

    any help would be appreciated.

    I've never looked at that theme's source directly, so this won't be exact, but it should be close.

    In your functions.php, look for:

    add_theme_support( 'genesis-footer-widgets', 2 );

    Change the 2 to 3. This can be changed to whatever you need if you decide to have more or less areas.

    In your CSS, look for something like:

    .footer-widgets-1,
    .footer-widgets-2,
    .footer-widgets-3,
    .footer-widgets-4 {
    	width: 300px;
    	float: left;
    }

    You'll probably only have 1 and 2, you'll need to add as many as you have widgetized areas, in your case, 3. Change the width to your site width / 3 (leave room for padding, depending on how you set it up). You may need to play with the sizes, float, etc, but that about sums it up. Let me know if that helps!
