Adding Theme Options for a Responsive Logo or Header Image

Hi there, I'm creating a premade blog theme for mass selling using the Genesis Sample Theme. I would like customers to have the ability to add a responsive logo or header image through the Admin Dashboard on their own without touching any code. How can I go about doing this? Any suggestions are much appreciated, thank you.

With that theme all you need to do is upload the image to your child themes images folder named logo.png overwriting the default.

Then set Genesis > Theme Settings from text to image.

If you add PHP like this to your functions file, you'll also add a header image option to the customizer however, the PHP and CSS will need tweaking for different logo sizes:

	'width'           => 300,
	'height'          => 100,

	'header-text'     => false,
) );

Thanks Brad. I'll try adding support for a custom header and also add media queries, hopefully that will work.

I changed my logo size in the php but I have to change something in the CSS, how do I do that?
