Hi there, I am working on a site where I have set the feature images to come out full width above the content and sidebar. What I really want to do is have the entry title (h1) coming out on top (literally layered on top!!) of that feature image instead of placed under the image.

Normally I would add an image as a background to a div in simple hooks, and then add the text for each separate page (in hooks) as normal and using custom body classes on all of the pages get it to display but it feels as though there could be a way of doing this simpler with hooks in the functions.

Any pointers in the right direction would be fab.

I think it maybe could be easier than that. Carrie Dils wrote a great tutorial on doing this kind of thing, maybe it will help. http://www.carriedils.com/text-overlay-image/

Hi Robin - I have used that before - good post, I'll see if I can use some of it. Hopefully I can get there.

    Thanks for your help.
