    Hi,

I've seen several people discuss the ability to add an icon to the Simple Social Icons plug-in but haven't been able to find a how-to. Entypo, that makes the default icons includes a Slideshare Icon in their package but it's not been added to SSI yet. I either need to add Slideshare to the mix or replace one of the current package, like bloglovin or dribble that I don't plan on using.

Can anyone tell me how to do this? I know how to access the simple-social-icons.php file.

    Thanks!

This shows how to add the Snapchat icon. It's the same process for Slideshare: http://victorfont.com/add-snapchat-simple-social-icons/

    Hi Victor,

Thanks for the quick response. In your post example, Snapchat wasn't available in the default set whereas Slideshare is part of Entypo's set. I'm just not clear on if I need to upload it or something else. And from looking at your code, I see that you included 'snapchat' => '', in the glyphs section. I'm assuming the second half of that refers to the icon but where did you get that? Because I'd have to have a similar reference for Slideshare.

    Thanks,

    Bill

As I explained in the article, I used FontAwesome for the snapchat icon. You can use any icon font you want for slideshare.
