Adding multiple "recipe" index pages to Foodie theme

Hi everyone!

I really want to purchase the Foodie theme but am wondering if it is possible for me to easily create more than one "recipe" index page. The theme comes with one, but since my blog is about food/diy projects/running tips, I really want to have three different pages of photo indexes. Basically, I want to do exactly what this recipe blog has done: http://ohmyveggies.com

She has a recipe page for vegetarian dishes, one for vegan, one for tips & hints, etc...is there a way for me to do this myself? I am fairly familiar with code and have faith that I can figure it out if someone can point me in the right direction.

Isn't the index page created by the plugin?

Maybe the plugin enables you to create multiple index pages or was it the grid style layout you like for the archives?

According to the same question sent to Shay Bocks, the Foodie creator, "if you're handy with css and php, yes. 🙂 It takes some customization, but mostly just copying the first index."

I wish I knew exactly how to do this, but the truth is...I don't have a clue where to start! But yes, I basically really want a grid-style layout to display all of my recipes in one page, all of my diy projects in the other, etc. After I saw ohmyveggies.com customize her Foodie theme to do this, I was determined that I could do this, too. The tutorial you sent...if I followed those steps, could I do this with the Foodie theme? Or is that something different?

That example isn't using multiple recipe indeces - they're just the category pages. See the URL: http://ohmyveggies.com/category/vegan-recipes/

So basically, she just set it up so that her category pages display in a grid format? If I can figure that out, then I could possibly customize the Foodie theme this way instead of figuring out how to copy the first index.

Thank you both so much. One more thing - I see that there is a plugin called "Genesis Grid." Will this essentially do the same thing?
