    Good Morning,

I've been looking at Firebug trying to figure out how to add custom titles to my sidebar widgets, but I'm a little stuck. I know I'll have to add a background image code to my CSS, but how do I add it to each title?

On my sidebar I have the titles I want to customize in yellow. I tried adding an image widget to add the custom title, but the spacing between the title and information was far apart and looked horrible. Fiddling with the CSS didn't make it look better either.

I did manage to add my Instagram widget and title successfully in the footer area though. Could someone guide me on how to add these individual titles and get them closer to the actual widget. I'm a novice so this is just baffling me!

    Thanks, Cindy

It would be easiest (and look better and be more SEO friendly) to just use the font on your site instead of photos of it. You are using Janda, correct?

You can purchase the Webfont license (if you haven't already) for $5 and then you can just have all of your sidebar titles automatically written in that font.

It's a really simple process, we can walk you through it if you'd like!

To add to this, you will also need to make your images responsive. Currently, your header is not responsive. I would use the Webfonts as Christina has suggested.

So it sounds like Webfont license would be the best bet (and not drive me nuts). I am familiar with how Google Fonts go into CSS, but how do other fonts not normally used work into a site so everyone can see it?

The font developer will have instructions on how to do this I believe. I've always used Google Fonts. I guess I should step it up a notch, huh? 🙂

Cindy, the webfont from My Fonts should be added just like your Google fonts, but if you have any questions, just come back here and ask! 🙂

(And, btw, if you are adding your Google fonts to your style sheet (CSS) everyone will be able to see them just like you do and My Fonts will work the same way.)
