Memberi am using captivate 7 to create some interactive training material. I am looking to see how i can add it to a page on my site, or in some way all. I looking to make this a repeatable process as i am hoping to build a library of training.
if absolutely necessary it could be a method of adding swf. but ideally not looking to go there since i believe that is a dying format

MemberUnfortunately the Associate child theme isn't HTML5 compatible, so you would need to convert it before you can add microdata to your site. There are a number of tutorials if you want to DIY (I recommend that people only convert on their own if they are extremely comfortable with PHP and CSS) or there are several designers including myself who offer conversion services.

MemberI think any of the child themes could be a good fit; Agency Pro is a nice one that I think would work well for a training site, as well as Executive Pro. If you haven't looked at the WP Courseware plugin for online courses, check it out - that's what I use for my own training stuff and it's phenomenal. (That's not Genesis-related but I thought I'd throw it in since it's awesome.)

MemberThanks I will check that, all of it out, the question then becomes, how easy it to add an html 5 project to one of those themes. or is the wp courseware handling some of that

MemberSince the Pro child themes are all HTML5-compatible, it won't be too hard to add schema markup. Here's a post from Brad Dalton that explains more about adding markup to Genesis: http://wpsites.net/wordpress-themes/adding-custom-schema-in-genesis-for-your-specific-niche/
