    Hello
    Is there a way to add some div container to the site-header before the wrap container?

    Thank you in advance for your input.

    Anything is possible with the Genesis Framework. Add this to functions.php. I've tested it in my local environment with the Genesis Sample theme. It should do the trick for you.

    remove_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_header_markup_open', 5 );
    add_action( 'genesis_header', 'my_custom_header_markup_open', 5 );
    function my_custom_header_markup_open() {

    	genesis_markup( array(
    		'open'    => '<header %s><div>',
    		'context' => 'site-header',
    	) );

    	genesis_structural_wrap( 'header' );

    }

    remove_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_header_markup_close', 15 );
    add_action( 'genesis_header', 'my_custom_header_markup_close', 15 );
    function my_custom_header_markup_close() {

    	genesis_structural_wrap( 'header', 'close' );
    	genesis_markup( array(
    		'close'   => '</div></header>',
    		'context' => 'site-header',
    	) );

    }
