I would like to know if it is possible to define a background image into a text or html widget. I know that sometimes, in some Genesis Themes, there are images that are associated to a specific widget area. But, as a general procedure, is it possible to define, just in the text of the widget, a background image? Specially interesting for making a Hero Image without extra plugins.
Thanks a lot!

Technically, yes. You could add an image element in the text of the widget and then style that image element as a background image.
You'd just have to get the HTML markup right and add some CSS.
