    Hi All 🙂

    Using the Generate Theme however I have an optin form for the bottom footer (friends site and starting with this optin form before I go into battle with the Generate Box) The form has been created for me however I have been all over the Internet and no doubt should of just come here first..... and for the life of me I cannot work out how to add /hook it up to a Aweber mailing list.

    I would appreciate anyones advice and help please as I am sure someone here must of done this previously 🙂 (fingers crossed)

    The code for the optin form is: ( I have removed the image links in the form on purpose...ty)

    <div style=" background:url BACKGROUND IMAGE REMOVED); background-repeat:no-repeat; width:600px; height:200px;">
    <div style="margin-left:auto; margin-right:auto; width:510px; padding-top:110px;"><form action="" method="get" style="padding:0px; margin:0px;">

    <label style="padding:0px; margin:0px;">
    <input name="textfield" type="text" id="textfield" style=" width:77px; height:30px; margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; float:left;" value="Name" onFocus="if(this.value==this.defaultValue)this.value='';" onBlur="if(this.value=='')this.value=this.defaultValue;" />
    </label>

    <label style="padding:0px; margin:0px;">
    <input name="textfield2" type="text" id="textfield2" style="width:170px; height:30px; margin-left:4px; margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; float:left;" value="Email" onFocus="if(this.value==this.defaultValue)this.value='';" onBlur="if(this.value=='')this.value=this.defaultValue;" />
    </label>

    <label style="padding:0px; margin:0px;">
    <input name="textfield" type="text" id="textfield" style=" width:135px; height:30px; margin-left:4px; margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; float:left;" value="Country" onFocus="if(this.value==this.defaultValue)this.value='';" onBlur="if(this.value=='')this.value=this.defaultValue;" />
    </label>

    <label>
    <input type="image" name="imageField" id="imageField" src="IMAGE REMOVED" style="margin-top:0px; padding:0px; float:right;" />
    </label>
    </form></div>
    </div>

    Regards

    Hi,
    Aweber has it's own "generate form" section with tons of different styles. Sign in and click Web Forms in the top nav.

    My suggestion would be to use their site to generate the code for your form, then try to combine it with your graphics.

    I just used a basic generated form on this site http://poweremini.com/

    Hi

    Yes i loaded the background image into aweber and worked great but of course cannot get the label boxes to line up horizontally. Hence the big issue. Would rather do it that way than fiddle with that coding i pasted above.

    Hi,
    Well unfortunately, without being able to see the form, it's not likely you will find anyone that can help you fix it up.

    I would just tinker with the padding, heights and widths etc.

    Good luck.

    Hi

    Yes i understand, thank you for jumping in and offering to help. I did find some information regarding changing the css coding in the aweber form/html code but cannot get it to work correctly. Given up and have found someone on fivver that works with aweber forms creating the horizontal label layout.

    Now all i need to work on is the top box and changing that layout style. Off to search the forum 🙂
