Since Widgets are usually reserved for certain areas...sidebars, footers, etc...how do you add a widget to a page?

Is there a good Plugin to do this?

I came across this plugin...a few times. I'm just wondering if this is the go-to widget to do this or if there are better ones.

    Thanks!

    Try this tutorial

You can control where the new widget area displays using the conditional tag is_page()

Not sure where to implement that?

I'd like to create a page, then on that page...drop in a Featured Posts Widget for example.

I don't want the widget to reside in a sidebar, footer,etc...on this new page.

    Victor...thanks for the reply.

And actually, that page in the article link you gave...is what I want to do.

In that article, there is an example blog page with a menu that includes the page called "No Sidebar" and it simply has what looks like a group of Posts nicely arranged. That's all I want to do.

I don't know if this is some gallery plug-in, a widget, etc.

Do you know how this was done maybe?

    Thanks!
