I have replaced the home page background image with the genesis responsive slider in the minimum pro theme. I want to add a custom overlay consisting of custom text (not content from posts/pages), which I can position and style to my liking. I followed the a tutorial by Sridhar Katakam, where he does a similar thing but with an Enew widget; however, the code he provided doesn't work and he is unresponsive in regards to correcting his tutorial. I cannot make the site accessible to the public at this time; however, if you send me your IP address, I can give you temporary access; although, I really don't think access to the site is necessary to provide guidance on this. Please reply only if you capable of providing the correct solution. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
