Add widget to right of reduced width Outreach slider

I am trying to add a new widget area to the right of the Outreach Pro slider. I've reduced the slider width to 760px and intend the widget area to be 350px (which I think tallies with the content +sidebar width on a regular page).

I added this code to functions.php but am not sure I've got the right hook area as I can't see the widget. It's showing in the widget dashboard. I know I have to add CSS but am at a bit of a loss as to that side of thing, as I am not even sure I've got the right hook position anyway. The action code is courtesy of Brad Dalton so I may have got it wrong for my custom area.

Any ideas? Tnx. Site localdev at the moment. I found similar Qs on the forum but none I tried solutions of seem to work.

I've a screengrab here of the widget - slider issue, as the site is in local dev. I've got some code visible more or less in the right 'wrap' but clearly it's a bit of a way off filling the white space to right of my reduced slider width.

Sridhar very kindly did a post on his WP blog which resolves this issue. So here's the link should you need to split Outreach slider / widget area top. This is for the Pro version. His blog also has 'how to' for the earlier version.
