Hey Guys, I am customizing my website using the Parallax Pro theme, and was wondering if someone could help me?

I am wanting to add a widget area (where I will add a CTA) underneath my header on one specific page. How could I do this, I tried following a tutorial, but when I saved I got some kind of parse error and had to reinstall my theme through file manager.

Do any of you guy know the code I would need to add?

Thanks a LOT in advance for ANY help with this.

    Use this http://wpsites.net/web-design/adding-new-widget-areas-in-studiopress-themes/

And use the genesis_after_header hook with a conditional tag for the one specific page.

Also, use a code editor and FTP to add the code.

oh, awesome Brad, thanks a lot! 🙂

one more thing, what do you mean by "and ftp", would I not just add this all via the editor? (or am I maybe missing something here?)

    Thanks again man,
    Martie

Never add PHP code to the WordPress editor or you will get errors. Use FTP or File Manager in cPanel
