I'm having trouble getting a widget area to show up where I want it. I'm trying to get my widget area to come before .footer-widgets (using Winning Agent child theme). I used the "before footer" hook, but this adds the widget area before the footer, but not before the footer widgets. I don't think any other hooks will work to get this content where I need it since the widget area needs to be full width and the main page content is not a full-width set up.

So I'm wondering if there's something I'm not thinking of using the hook method. Or, if I just need to add the area to the page template, how to do that. I looked at footer.php but am not good with PHP and didn't know what to add to which part of that file.

Thank you so much for your help!!!
