I would like to add either a widget area or know where I can add shortcode above the title of post pages only.

Thanks. I tried added a hook yesterday for this and ended up killing the site. Will give it a try again. I am totally new to hooks.

I installed the Genesis Simple Hooks plugin and that worked great. That plugin works awesome and that hook is perfect. Thanks.
