    Hi! I’m working with Metro Child Theme and I need place a full width image under the header, I guess that i need a new widget area, could you help me please? This is the site, it's under construction 😉

    You can hook it in directly and add a new widget area.

    You could also change the hook in the code from:

    genesis_after_header
    

    To:

    genesis_before_content_sidebar_wrap

    Please copy the code from the view raw link and paste it at the end of your child themes functions.php file using a text editor like Notepad++
