I have a custom post type called 'hosts' that I want to add after the post content but before the author box that says:
This Post Was Last Updated On:

    http://thecustomizewindows.com/2012/10/last-modified-date-wordpress-for-posts-plus-rel-tags-for-genesis/

The code at the bottom of this page works, but it puts the content at the very top of the page (before the template).

I want to add this code on single-hosts.php template page.

    Help?

This is what I want, how do I format it with the hook for the functions.php or single-hosts.php pages?

If you only want the code to display on the single post display of your hosts CPT, you should just be able to put the code in your last post in your single-hosts.php at the location where you want it. The code is just echo'ing a value, so you'll have to surround it with HTML so you can style it appropriately.

Bill I appreciate your reply, however, if I just put that code on the bottom of single-hosts.php at the bottom (before the genesis closing tag), it just prints it at the very top of the page outside of the theme.

What I'm asking for is how to write the genesis hook code to include:

    genesis_after_post_content

    and the code from http://techiknow.com/last-modified-post-date-and-time-in-genesis-child-theme/

As for styling, THAT I'm good at.
