    Hey there love this theme just want to be able to have static page content - with the primary sidebar under the homepage top area.

    Have tried commenting out the main loop from the front-page.php and this inserts the full width page content but no sidebar,

    //* Remove the default Genesis loop
    /* remove_action( 'genesis_loop', 'genesis_do_loop' ); */

    Thanks for any help.

    regards

    I too am in need for a solution to this if anyone can help please.

    I've tried genesis_standard_loop(); but it doesn't output the loop hooks such as genesis_before_loop, genesis_loop, genesis_after loop etc or the sidebar.

    The Simply Pro theme you offer does exactly what I need after the slider: my.studiopress.com/themes/simply/#demo-full

    I've downloaded the theme and cannot see any difference in front-page.php 🙁
