Does anyone know how I would go about adding the slider that is currently on my front static page to the section/width right above where my blog posts are? I'm using the Genesis Fun Theme and the Nemus Slider. My site is http://www.ladolcevitaxo.com

    Appreciate any help with this!

    Thanks!
    Marie

It looks like you were able to resolve your issue. I am seeing your slider at the top of your home page.

No because I'd like the slider to appear above the blog posts and not in the primary sidebar. Any ideas how to make that happen?

That's weird - I was seeing your slider in that location this morning, but now I'm seeing it back in your sidebar...

To add a slider above your blog posts, there are a number of options:

Modify your front-page.php file so that you use the theme's functionality - using the Home Top Widget for your slider (like the demo), but modifying the code to keep the loop in there (so it will automatically display blog posts). That's what I did on my test site using the FUN theme (here)

Add in a widget area to a static page. (This guide will assist) and add in the slider to that.

Yes the way it is now is closer to what I want. I want it to look exactly as it does now with both content section and primary sidebar but with the slider to appear in the content section so that ti's the same width as the post as well. I'm going to attempt to follow the instructions you sent. Thanks!
