    Hi all,

What what would be the simplest way to add smooth mouse wheel scrolling / easing sitewide without a plugin? I see lots of scripts and jquery thingies are available, but am not sure how to add those without breaking everything or causing general mayhem.

    Background:
Ever since I noticed that some sites have buttery smooth scrolling and easing when you scroll with the mouse wheel I have a hard time looking at jerky scrolling. For example, here's a smoothly scrolling / easing site:

    http://www.imaginaryforces.com/

(There's a lot of other cool stuff going on there, but just check out the smooth scrolling if you use the mouse wheel).

then compare with the Altitude Demo

I've tested this plugin and it seems to work OK

I do like to avoid unnecessary plugins (because then you depend on the author to keep it updated). Is there a nice way to add a scrolling/easing script to Altitude?

    Cheers,
    Lori
