I'm loving this Mailchimp course I'm taking except for the fact I don't know where to put the signup form with all the hidden tags into my php.

I'm not a developer/coder. I'm happy to do some digging myself to figure out where stuff goes if any of you have a resource.

Where in the child theme's php files does the code go?

Let's say I want to have a small, minimal form requesting just an email address at the bottom of each blog post....

Where do I stick the code?
