Will anyone please show me how to add a line break AFTER the "read more" link in my post excerpts, on my home page?

    http://www.psoraticarthritisguy.com

I am trying to achieve the "Read More" BUTTON look used by Smashing Magazine.  (ie. http://www.SmashingMagazine.com)

    EXAMPLE:  (found here):

    "Please note that:

All images can be clicked on and lead to the preview of the wallpaper,
You can feature your work in our magazine by taking part in our Desktop Wallpaper Calendar series. We are regularly looking for creative designers and artists to be featured on Smashing Magazine. Are you one of them?

Ultimately, I would like to have control over the read more button and have the ability to add the button wherever I want in the article.

Right now, I have my theme set up:

Genesis Theme Settings>>Content Archives>>Display Post Excerpts>>Include Featured Image

    Any help?

WordPress let's you add the read more button anywhere in the article by pressing the "more" button on the editor. In the visual editor it's a button that looks like a dotted line separating two parts.

To style it, just edit the .more-link class on your style sheet.

Also, to add a separator between posts, you can add a border-bottom to the .post class.
