    Hi,

    I am using the Magazine Pro theme and I want the featured post widget to pull and display posts from two separate categories. Is this possible?

    This is what you could use

    $query = new WP_Query( array( 'category__and' => array( 2, 6 ) ) );

    The only problem is its not built in so you would need to create a custom version of the widget or find a widget which extends the default and includes multiple categories.
