I'm sorry for this basic question: I seem to have conflicting css rules for links, and I can't find what's wrong.

I want links in the text be light gray but bold, and that they become dark on hovering. This works in Chrome as long as I don't click on the links. Going back to them and hovering they will not react any longer. Using Firefox the visited links only flashes shortly in the darker color.

I'm using an HTML5 converted version of the original Minimum theme. For the moment It's only the first page and the About page that use Word Press.

It's because you're declaring a:visited (line 596) after a:hover (line 141). Try moving it up.

    Thank you so much!!

I had forgotten about the breadcrumbs code that I added to the theme but didn't use.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. Making some changes to a custom theme but I can just see it getting messy! I'll be going through and cleaning everything up soon...
