MemberThat's no problem, I don't think we'll need more items in the menu (or if we do, they can be drop down items instead of joining the main visible menu). And if it was needed, I guess I can save this thread and use it to go back in and change the max width to suit at that time?
That's perfect. Thanks so much for all your help Ryan. I'm a conference organiser and not a web designer so it means so much to be able to sort these things out before my client notices and asks any questions I can't answer. Very much appreciated!

MemberThat's strange. I've tried it in 3 browsers and always the same. You see how there is a blank grey section on the right end of the menu in the header which pushes it along so it covers part of the word Barcelona in the head banner?
having said that, I tried it on my tablet and it doesn't look the same (but then I'm using the responsive header plug in so this probably changes that aspect - in terms of its relation to the header image)

MemberThanks Ryan, couldn't get it to work exactly like that (it wouldn'tshow up without something I the menu) so have added another link to the Spanish language site that will be visible above the fold (not a bad idea in itself anyway!) instead of a full menu and that's done the trick.
I'm happy with that.
I do have one more issue if you're feeling both clever and generous.... I had loaded up the Genesis Simple hooks to see if I could do as you said previously. To get familiar I just tried adding a simple test code to see what would be visible where, so I could figure out which area to work on for a solution.
I simply added the code:
span style="color: rgb(204, 204, 204);">Test</spanMy assumption was I'd see where the word test popped up and know what I was dealing with.
I think I added it to the genesis_after_header Hook area and (as you can see at ) it's added something to the menu area which is pushing it over further to the left. Now I can't undo it (I've clicked reset in the plug in and have tried uninstalling etc). Do you have any idea how to fix or at least where the plug in would have entered that code so I can go in manually and remove it?
Thanks so much

MemberThanks Ryan, I'll try to use that plug and see what I can achieve.
It's just frustrating as I somehow managed to do this 6 months ago when I built the Spanish language version of the site (http://www.ecams-conference.com/) but that was the first site I built so was juggling so many things that I can't remember where I found the code snippet or how I did it there (without using any of your work around above as I didn't use that plug in and didn't have any particular coding skills - still don't!)
I've tried copying the function.php file (as the 2 should be effectively the same site) but this didn't have any effect. So can't figure where I go a snippet or code to do this (it is definitely the standard twitter link from the theme and not an externally coded section).

MemberThanks, that worked a treat. So simple when you know how!
Much appreciated.
