    This is what I did to stop the scroll:

    Changed this:
    .front-page-1,
    .front-page-3,
    .front-page-5,
    .front-page-7 {
    background-attachment: scroll;
    }

    To this:

    .front-page-1,
    .front-page-3,
    .front-page-5,
    .front-page-7 {
    background-attachment: fixed;
    }

    In other words, just change the word "scroll" to "fixed" A huge saving on unnecessarily bloating the code.

    Ah Grant, I see what you're saying.

    That would take quite some coding to have the entire site look like the home page I'm afraid. I'm a bit of a techie, but event that would be beyond me.

    If you're looking for is say the look of the blog page or about page for the home page, create a separate page called "home" and then follow the instructions I sent you earlier. Other than that, I'm afraid I can't help. 🙁

    If it can be done, this is a job for an experienced developer.

    All the best,

    Trish

    Hi Grant,

    Hover your mouse over Appearance, then scroll down and find customize. In there you will find an option for Static Front Page. Currently it's set to Front Page Displays "your latest posts." You want to select the only other option which is "a static page" and then choose which page you want displayed.

    Hope this helps,

    Trish

    Sorted thanks.

    My developer changed it within the CSS and so I'm assuming it was just about changing the margin. He will send me the code later and so I'll know for certain and will post it here for anyone else who has the same issue.

    Hi Alan,

    Thanks for this. However, even if I remove this image, I get the same problem.

    I've added the max height - but this doesn't resolve the problem with the full width navigation bar moving to the top of the page behind the image.

    Brad,

    Excellent ... I found an updated version though ... http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/last-modified-timestamp should anyone else need this.

    Much appreciated,

    Just in case anyone else would like to know, it's:

    .page-template-wellness-page-php #inner .wrap

    All the best,

    Trish
