I use this plugin a lot (the free version):
tcollingMemberThanks again for your help, Dave. I really appreciate it!
Just to be certain that I understand how this works when processed by WordPress:
If I DO leave the code for a class in both places, does WordPress ignore the code for the object in the child theme style.css version, and use the code for the object in the custom.css file instead?
tcollingMemberHi David -
THANK YOU so much for taking time to answer my question. I really appreciate your help!
One followup detail: if I do what you suggest, then when I modify blocks of code in the child theme style.css file, should I copy them over entirely to the custom.css file and then modify them in the custom.css file?
If so, then should I comment them out in the original child theme file, or can I leave them un-commented because the versions in the custom.css file will somehow supersede the original versions in the child theme style.css file, or what?
Thanks!
tcollingMemberAnyone?
Bonus question: is this feature by any chance included in Genesis 2.0? 🙂

Thanks anyway for all your other help here!

I tried the things that you suggested but they didn't help. Fortunately, I had a decent backup (I use ManageWP) and I restored my previous backup. I lost about a day's work but that's what happens when I don't back up at mid-points during the day.
I will forego using that plugin for now. Just in case...
Thanks!
- TimtcollingMemberThank you very much for taking time to answer my question. Â I appreciate your help!
Do all Genesis child themes work this way? Â I'm not used to having the home page be be a posts page, but it's fine with me so long as I know what to do.
Again, thank you for your help!
