The website is live today, so any help with this would be GREAT!!! 🙂
February 17, 2017 at 4:33 pm in reply to: Trouble with background image scrolling in Altitude Pro #201426tamclennanMemberI decided to go with Easy Testimonials for a slider, and the problem stopped.
February 17, 2017 at 2:54 pm in reply to: Trouble with background image scrolling in Altitude Pro #201413tamclennanMemberFollowing up on this. I think I've confirmed that the scrolling issue has something to do with the testimonials slider. I tried removing it and adding other widgets to the area, and the problem went away. But as soon as I put the slider back, it started again. As before, it doesn't happen every single time I scroll down the page, but it happens more often than not, and it's happened on every computer I've used to check it.
I'm at a loss as to how to fix this, and up against a deadline. If you have any advice or ideas, I'd appreciate them!

February 15, 2017 at 9:26 am in reply to: Trouble with background image scrolling in Altitude Pro #201233tamclennanMemberHi, Victor.
I was thinking at first that it might be a caching issue or something, but I've experienced the scrolling problem on 3 computers in 2 locations. At some point I did change the size of the image sections (though now I can't remember where...don't think it was in style.css). I don't remember it happening before that, but I hadn't been working on the site long at that point.
My other thought is that it might have something to do with the testimonial slider I'm using in that section.
I'll keep watching it and see if I can nail down a consistent issue. If you have any other thoughts, I'd love to hear them.
Thanks!
tamclennanMemberAwesome, THANKS!!!
tamclennanMemberWorked like a charm. Thanks so much!!
tamclennanMemberWow, that's awesome! Thank you! I had no idea. 🙂
tamclennanMemberHi, Victor. I don't have a header-right widget...
tamclennanMemberWow, thanks, Victor! I have no idea how that happened, but you were right. I replaced the entire media queries section and everything's back to normal. Must have accidentally cut a huge portion without realizing it.
Thanks again!
tamclennanMemberI think I've figure out that my problem is with the front page widget area itself, not the overlapping. I made a wrong assumption based on the appearance of the demo site. Still, I'm having trouble because I don't want the background of front page 2 to be white, and I can't get it to change. How can I change the white area around the enews widget so that it flows into the next front page area seamlessly?
February 22, 2016 at 1:21 pm in reply to: Removing posts and sidebar from homepage: Education Pro #179631tamclennanMemberThat did the trick! Thank you!!!
February 22, 2016 at 12:40 pm in reply to: Removing posts and sidebar from homepage: Education Pro #179625tamclennanMemberThat didn't seem to change the effect to the other pages. They also lost padding.
February 22, 2016 at 11:26 am in reply to: Removing posts and sidebar from homepage: Education Pro #179618tamclennanMemberThank you, Christoph. I was hoping there might be a way to remove it from the home page, while keeping the padding on the other pages. This solution removes the padding altogether, and I don't like the way that makes the other pages look. Any suggestions?
February 20, 2016 at 12:21 pm in reply to: Removing posts and sidebar from homepage: Education Pro #179490tamclennanMemberHi, I've tried following this threat but am still having trouble. The site I'm working on doesn't have any blog posts, so the home page is just displaying a strip where they would be. How do I get rid of it? I already replaced the code as mentioned above.
Thanks,
AlisontamclennanMemberBeautiful, thanks! I knew it must be simple. 🙂
tamclennanMemberHow would I do that? I see where the float:right designation in the widget area in the style.css, but how do I make it treat the custom menu and the text widget differently?
February 16, 2016 at 1:28 pm in reply to: After-entry bottom border not showing in Parallax Pro #179167tamclennanMemberAh, that makes sense!
Okay, so I enabled the author box and added a widget to the after-entry area. Now my only problem is the border between the two is heavier than it should be. How can I make them all the same?
Thanks!
AlisontamclennanMemberBeautiful, thank you!!
