Remove what you changed and instead add this to your theme's style.css
#af-form-4600362 .af-body { padding-bottom: 30px!important; }
Your form is adding inline
<style>...</style>
tags which are hard to override, which is why we need to use!important
.swrightParticipantAh, well when looking at your site now I can see that the ID of the
section
element has changed fromsearch-3
tosearch-4
. Have you moved widgets around or recreated some? It might be better to target the class of that element, which is.widget-search
. So add the line.header-widget-area .widget_search { margin-bottom: 0px; }
and you will be all set!swrightParticipantI've noticed this same issue and am having trouble locating the code (it has to be in the NewPro or Genesis theme code) that injects this css.
Anyone have any ideas which file it is in?
swrightParticipantThere is a selector in your style.css file for your child-theme that is targeting the container of your logo image.
Look for the line starting with.site-header .wrap
, It has padding defined for this element that is taking up space. Change it from30px 60px
to10px 60px
.There is also margin-bottom defined for
.widget
at 40px. If you remove or change this it will effect all your widget spacing. I would recommend you target the ID of this search box by adding a linesection#search-3
and setmargin-bottom: 0px;
Finally there is a line
.header-image .site-title a
and the min-height for this selector is set at 100px. Change it to the height of your logo (which happens to be 72px). This should remove all/most of the space above and below your logo without messing everything up. -
