    Yes Brad, there are a lot of tutorials, many of them are outdated or don't work. The work I've done has been due to those same tutorials. Mostly 3rd party tho. Not much from Genesis.

    And by community you mean this one? What, are there like 4-5 people posting here? lol.

    Wordpress thinks they are, apparently. Regardless, I assume "traditional" themes will be around longer than I am (I'm old and sick - lol). Not a very "vibrant" community like I expected when I started designing again but I reckon I'll figure out what I need to with the help of google.

    Looks like i may have been investing my time in the wrong theme "framework". Another lifetime license for a more or less abandoned product. WTF.

    I noticed that even the block content example page that sets up in the sample theme breaks the layout... the block (think it was a quote?) exceeded the width of the content area. I seem to remember another block (photo with text I think) did the same if I resized it. Seems like blocks shouldn't be able to just exceed the content areas they're placed in to me.
