Thanks for the reply, Victor.

Yes, I check and see that I have the latest version 335 running, and the problem persists. I would consider this a bug particularly which makes me nervous. I can't imagine spending the hours building my block-based widgets, and one day Genesis gives me the blank screen on them. It looks like I'm forced to build my new site using classic widget editor for now until the development team sorts this out.

Same problem here. Looks like they have replaced the syntax and abandoned genesis_do_post_image. Waisted my half hour to figure out what was wrong and the solution.
