Jim: Still no luck. If you look at my link I provided above, you can see how far I was able to get. I was able to get a small search box in the menu, but it still doesn't work correctly.

Brad: Thanks for sharing that link to the tutorials. The tutorial that shows the closest result I am trying to get is: http://wpsites.net/wordpress-tips/expanding-search-in-nav-menu/. The only thing is that I can't find the snippets in the Genesis Sample theme that the tutorial was talking about. Maybe in the most recent update from Studiopress, the snippets were removed from that theme?
